Scheduling Zoom Meetings on a Shared Calendar Resource (Zoom Room)
To schedule a meeting using a departmental Zoom room, go to https://calendar.google.com/
Click on the desired time slot or click the Create button and select the time slot.
Note:
If the room resource already has a meeting scheduled for that time, the room can’t be added to the meeting reservation.
Do NOT: Click “Add video conferencing” – this will create different meeting information
DO: Click Add Rooms
Search (or scroll down) for the resource you’re looking for. Zoom rooms are under “Zoom”.

Note:
If you add guests and meeting information (recurring meeting ID information; e.g. Zoom meeting link, and/or meeting ID and passcode), that information will be visible to anyone who checks the calendar. If you don’t want that to happen, send an email with that information to invitees.
Click Save.

When the person acting as host joins the meeting, they’ll need to:
Click on the Participants icon
Click on Claim Host
Enter the Host Key
Click Claim Host (in blue)
